The accident involved a stolen vehicle crashing into another vehicle, injuring the occupants of the non-stolen vehicle. This situation brings up some questions. If my car is stolen and is then involved in an accident can I be sued? If i get hit by a stolen vehicle who will cover my expenses?

In general you are not liable if your car is stolen and involved in an accident. There are some exceptions to this such as if you had reason to know it was going to be stolen, or it was stolen by someone on the policy. Who would cover the expenses of an injured party when a stolen car is involved would be more tricky. Generally you could go after the driver of the stolen vehicle or anyone else who may have facilitated the theft of the vehicle and the accident itself.
